Certificates that issue themselves
Typing certificates by hand is slow, and every typo is a reissue. In RTO Grow, the certificate comes straight from the student's record: their name, their units, their dates, all already there. When they finish, it's issued.
As at 5 October 2026, RTO Grow has issued 1,193 certificates.

In-house certificates never carry the Nationally Recognised Training logo or the AQF statement, so you can't put them on the wrong certificate by mistake.
Automatic, with checks built in
When every unit is competent, credit transferred or RPL granted, the enrolment completes. RTO Grow then checks that the student's USI is verified or exempt, their profile is complete, their enrolment is ready to report, and the course offering is set to issue automatically. If everything's in order, the certificate issues and the student gets an email.
If something's missing, the certificate waits with a plain reason, and the student's record shows what's left to fix. Once the USI is verified, the waiting certificate issues and the student is emailed. See USI verification.

Or issue with one click
Set an offering to "Ask before issuing" and completed students wait in "Documents waiting", with a countdown showing days left on accredited courses. Click "Issue cert", add notes if you like, and it's done.
After a class, "Issue certificates and cards" lets you tick everyone ready and issue them all at once. Student leaving early? Issue a statement of attainment for the units they've completed.
Your design, your way
Design certificates and cards in "Guided" or "Drag and drop" mode. Upload your own artwork as PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF, then drag up to 25 fields where your design has room, including the student's photo, accreditation logos, signature, seal and QR code. Choose from 26 fonts. Mandatory fields put themselves back if you remove them.
Wallet cards are standard ID card size, 85.6 by 54 mm, with your own artwork on the front and back.
Verified by QR code
Every certificate gets a number and a QR code. Anyone can scan it, like an employer or an auditor, and see "Certificate verified" with the student, course, number and issue date, checked live against your records.
A permanent record
Every certificate is saved with its PDF, a digital fingerprint of that PDF, the units it covers, and a retention date 30 years out. Your logos and branding are locked in when it's issued, so a later rebrand never changes a certificate you've already issued.
Need to revoke one? Record a reason and it's kept, never deleted. A reissue links to the original, and the verify page points to the replacement.
