Assistive only, and it is built so it cannot be otherwise. AI never marks a student and never decides competency. Every assessment outcome is made and signed off by a qualified assessor, gated on their credentials and captured with a signed declaration against their name. What AI does do is help trainers build things — drafting assessment questions, parsing assessments you upload, suggesting competency mappings to accept or adjust, and flagging content-quality gaps. Instant marking of objective questions is deterministic scoring against your answer key, not AI judgement, and the unit-level competent decision requires a deliberate human sign-off. It is never inferred.
