Conduct civil construction grader operations

You will learn to plan and prepare for grader work, carry out pre-operational checks, and perform grading tasks such as spreading, levelling, trimming, and shaping materials on unsealed roads, earthworks, and construction sites. The unit also covers how to identify and respond to hazards, communicate with site personnel, and complete post-operational procedures including basic servicing and equipment shutdown. This unit suits people working in, or looking to move into, civil construction, road maintenance, or land development who want to build formal, nationally recognised competency in grader operations.
