Loader and Skid steer Bundle

This bundle covers two units of competency that together give you the practical skills to operate wheeled front end loaders and skid steer loaders on civil construction sites. You will learn to plan and prepare for each machine's operation, carry out tasks such as excavating, loading, grading, and stockpiling materials, and complete the required post-operational checks and documentation that are standard across civil construction worksites in Australia. This course suits people who are new to civil construction plant operation and want to get across two commonly paired machines in one training program, as well as existing workers looking to formalise their skills or add these units to their current qualifications. Both units are drawn from the RII Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package, so the competencies you gain are nationally recognised. After completing this bundle you will be able to demonstrate safe, compliant operation of both machine types in line with site safety requirements, manufacturer specifications, and relevant legislation. You will also be able to read and interpret work orders, identify hazards, and apply risk controls — practical capabilities that apply directly to day-to-day civil construction work.
