Loader, Excavator & Dozer Bundle

This course covers the operation of three core pieces of heavy plant used across civil construction sites in Australia: the dozer, the wheeled front end loader, and the excavator. You will work through the competencies needed to safely plan and carry out earthmoving tasks with each machine, including pre-operational checks, safe work practices, machine control, and site clean-up and shutdown procedures. Training is grounded in the national units RIIMPO323E, RIIMPO321F, and RIIMPO320F, which are recognised across the civil construction industry. This course suits people who are new to plant operation and want to build a solid foundation across multiple machines, as well as those already working on site who need formal recognition of the skills they have developed on the job. If you are looking to move into earthmoving work or broaden the plant you are licenced to operate, studying these three units together gives you practical coverage of the machines most commonly used in bulk earthworks, site preparation, and civil infrastructure projects. After completing this course, you will be able to operate a dozer, wheeled front end loader, and excavator to industry standard, carrying out tasks such as stripping and pushing material with the dozer, loading trucks and moving materials with the front end loader, and trenching, grading, and bulk excavation with the excavator. You will also demonstrate the ability to work to plans and specifications, identify and manage hazards, and communicate effectively with other site personnel during plant operations.
