If you already operate one machine and want to add the other to your ticket, the bundle format means you can complete both units together rather than separately. After completing this course, you will be able to demonstrate competent operation of a dozer and an excavator to the performance standards set out in the RIIMPO units. You will understand how to interpret site instructions, manage spoil and stockpiles, work within exclusion zones, and respond to the hazards specific to earthmoving operations. These skills are directly applicable to civil construction projects such as road building, land subdivision, drainage works, and pipeline installation.
