Answer a student's feedback request

Where: Trainer portal → "My Students" → "Feedback" → "Open"

Students can send you a draft of their work and ask for feedback before they formally submit. Those requests land in your feedback queue.

  1. Press "My Students" in the sidebar, then press "Open" in the "Feedback" column on the student's row. (Your whole queue across all students also lives at /t/feedback-requests.)
  2. The queue has three sections: "Awaiting your reply" (oldest first — deal with these), "Waiting on student", and "Closed last 30d".
  3. A red number badge on a card means unread messages. Press the card to open the thread.
  4. Read the student's draft and any attached files in the thread.
  5. Type your reply in the box at the bottom. You can also press the microphone button to record a voice reply, or the paperclip to attach a file.
  6. Press "Send".
  7. When the conversation is finished, press "Mark as resolved" at the top of the thread.

What happens next Your reply appears in the student's portal. Resolved threads move to "Closed last 30d" so you can still find them for a month.

If something looks wrong Feedback here is coaching on a draft — it doesn't record an assessment outcome. When the student formally submits, the attempt arrives in your "Marking Queue" as usual.
